Short version: this is a personal portfolio. It has no sign-ups, forms, analytics, ads, or tracking cookies, and I don't sell or share anyone's information.
Who runs this site
lancewheeler.co is the personal portfolio of Lance Wheeler, based in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Questions about this policy can go to Lancebusiness044@gmail.com.
Information I collect
The site itself doesn't collect personal information. There are no accounts, contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, analytics tools, or advertising trackers.
If you email me, I receive whatever you choose to include (like your name, email address, and message). I only use it to reply to you, and I don't add you to any list or share it with anyone.
Settings saved in your browser
Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so it sticks on your next visit. It stays on your device and is never sent to me. You can clear it anytime by clearing your browser's site data.
The "Ask About Lance" assistant
The chat assistant gives pre-written answers and runs entirely in your browser. What you type isn't stored, logged, or sent anywhere. Please don't type sensitive personal information into it anyway.
Third-party services
- GitHub Pages hosts this site. Like most web hosts, GitHub may log technical details such as your IP address to keep the service secure. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.
- Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces. When your browser loads them, Google receives your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy.
- Outside links to LinkedIn, Credly, Scrum Alliance, Coursera, and other credential sites follow those sites' own privacy policies once you leave this one.
Cookies and Do Not Track
This site doesn't set cookies or track you across sites. Since there's no tracking, browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals don't change anything here.
Children
This site is a professional portfolio and isn't directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
If you've emailed me and want that correspondence deleted, just ask at the address above and I'll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
